A defense attorney who once worked as a prosecutor in Oklahoma County is accused of hiding his fugitive legal assistant from authorities, court papers show.
William Mark Blasdel, 64, of Oklahoma City, was charged Monday in Oklahoma County District Court with harboring a fugitive.
Blasdel is accused of harboring Gale Lynn Crislip, 55 over a period of several months, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Prosecutors allege Blasdel hired Crislip with the knowledge that she was a fugitive and then actively concealed her from law enforcement.
Crislip was taken into custody Jan.
