Five people, including an 11-year-old girl, were hurt about 10:30 a.m. Saturday in a head-on collision between a minivan and a car that was being chased by Norman police.
Police say a car being driven by a 35-year-old Norman man was fleeing officers when it crossed the center line on Classen Boulevard, south of 12 Avenue SE, and collided with a minivan.
The driver of the minivan, a 35-year-old Norman man, and his 11-year-old passenger were taken to Norman Regional Hospital with what police said were non-life threatening injuries.
The car's driver and his two passengers, a 29-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman, both of Norman, also were taken to the hospital.
The car's driver and one passenger were arrested, police said.
