A prosecutor and three defense attorneys are being considered for the position of special judge in Oklahoma County, The Oklahoman has learned.
Assistant District Attorney Susan Johnson and defense attorneys Myong Chung, Jerry Day and Kevin McCray are in the running to replace Stephen P. Alcorn, whose last day as special judge was Wednesday.
Alcorn, 46, resigned last month after eight years on the bench to take a job as Montrose, Colo., city attorney.
The county's 15 district judges selected the four finalists from a field of 53 applicants.
