Prosecutors charged a man Friday with first-degree murder in the beating death of another inmate inside the Oklahoma County jail, court papers show.
Marshall Tyrone James, 50, is accused of killing Artie Andre Hales on March 18 inside the cell they shared on the 10th floor of the jail.
Hales, 55, a transient, was found injured about 5:40 p.m.
