JAY — A Jay Middle School principal — suspended without pay for more than four months — was reinstated Thursday night and then promptly resigned.
Following an executive session, the Jay School Board announced Roger Shane Carroll would be reinstated as principal effective April 12, school attorney Karen Long said.
After his reinstatement Carroll resigned effective June 30, Long said.
“During that time, he will not perform any administrative duties,” Long said.
Carroll, 39, of Eucha, did not attend the board meeting.
