MIAMI — A suspended Northeast Oklahoma A&M football player was ordered to serve six months in the Ottawa County jail in the kidnapping and robbery of a Miami man and woman, a prosecutor said Wednesday.
Christopher Lamont Carter, 19, of Oklahoma City, entered a blind plea Friday to robbery with a firearm and extortion by kidnapping, said Becky Baird, assistant district attorney.
Ottawa County Associate District Judge Robert Reavis found Carter guilty and ordered him to serve a 10-year deferred sentence.
Carter was also fined more than $8,200, she said.
Carter was one of three men who went to the residence of Kevin Perdomo and Shandeeh Pedra on Sept.
