CALUMET — A Tulsa man was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder in last month's deaths of a Calumet mother and her 5-year-old son.
Derek Don Posey, 30, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in Canadian County in the deaths of Amy Gibbins, 22, and her son, Bryor, whom firefighters found dead June 16 in a burned home.
Prosecutors allege Posey forcibly raped Gibbins and struck her on the head.
