SAPULPA - Creek County authorities plan to charge a suspect in the devastating wildfires last month that burned 58,500 acres, destroyed 376 homes and left hundreds homeless.
Assistant District Attorney Mike Loeffler said the federal Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Creek County Sheriff's Office have completed their investigation and that charges should be filed in the next 48 hours.
The charges will be for willfully violating the burn ban or alternatively, arson in the third degree.
