PONCA CITY — A man wanted on a complaint of attempted murder in California was arrested by Ponca City police Wednesday, the FBI reported Friday.
Leon Lowe, 24, is being held in the Kay County jail in Newkirk, awaiting transfer to Riverside County, Calif., according to an FBI news release.
Lowe is wanted in connection with a shooting May 29 in Moreno Valley, Calif., that left one victim hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds.
FBI agents from California and Oklahoma worked with the Ponca City Police Department to locate Lowe and arrest him.
