A former mailroom clerk at the state Corrections Department is accused of sexually assaulting a prisoner at department headquarters in Oklahoma City, authorities said.
Terry Dianne Katz, 55, was charged Thursday in Oklahoma County District Court with one count of forcible oral sodomy and one count of sexual battery.
Katz is accused of assaulting the 35-year-old man on July 15, while the man worked maintenance at the facility on Martin Luther King Avenue, spokesman Jerry Massie said Friday.
A co-worker overheard Katz telling someone about the encounter and reported it to authorities, Massie said.
Katz admitted to investigators she performed oral sex on the man, court records show.
