BARTLESVILLE– A former Bartlesville High School student charged with plotting a mass school shooting was found guilty on one charge and not guilty on another on Tuesday.
Sammie Eaglebear Chavez, 19, was found guilty on a charge of devising a plan to cause bodily harm.
The seven-woman, five-man jury recommended that he serve 30 months in prison and pay a $5,000 fine.
