ARAPAHO — Prosecutors filed first-degree murder charges Friday against a Weatherford man in the killing of a 16-year-old girl whose disappearance led to a yearlong investigation.
Newly released records provide a glimpse into the case but investigators did not provide a motive for the killing of JaRay Wilson.
A probable cause affidavit filed Friday in Custer County alleges Tucker McGee, 19, fatally shot Wilson in October 2012 with a .22 caliber pistol.
The affidavit stated that at least two people, one of them a confidential informant, provided information to authorities that led to McGee's arrest on Tuesday.
