A man accused of stealing money from phones at the Oklahoma County jail was arrested Tuesday after pointing a gun to his head in the parking lot of Penn Square Mall, the sheriff’s department reported.
Oklahoma County sheriff’s investigators had been searching for Thomas Caldwell, 65, since Friday and tracked him to the mall parking lot.
Caldwell is accused of taking $40,000 from telephone terminals inside the Oklahoma County jail.
