An Oklahoma City attorney involved in two high-profile shooting cases has been charged with three federal misdemeanor tax offenses.
Doug Friesen failed to turn over $51,735 in Social Security, Medicare and federal income taxes withheld from employees’ wages in 2007, prosecutors alleged in Oklahoma City federal court.
His defense attorney, Mack Martin, said a former employee embezzled those funds.
