Nancy Park acknowledges she isn’t a well-known or renowned artist, and her work doesn’t have the same monetary value as those done by famous painters.
That’s why she doesn’t understand why someone would steal 28 of her best paintings.
Park, of Del City, is one of several artists whose work is on display at the Contemporary Arts Gallery in Oklahoma City’s Paseo Arts District.
On Sunday, Park removed all her work from the gallery while workers came in to paint the panels where the paintings would normally hang.
The paintings were still in Park’s car when her husband drove it to jury duty Monday at the Oklahoma County courthouse.
