COLCORD – A cockfight was found in progress when Delaware County deputies intercepted a parcel at a Colcord residence Wednesday and seized several pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value over a quarter of a million dollars, the Sheriff's Office reported.
Amber Kent, 34, and Al Seastrom, 37, both of Colcord, were taken into custody on drug and weapon complaints as well as on cockfighting allegations.
Deputies also found 20 game birds being kept and trained for illegal cockfighting and a cockfight in progress, said Sheriff Harlan Moore.
