A Tulsa County judge on Monday formally sentenced two women to consecutive life prison sentences for the neglect and murder of a 19-month-old boy.
Last month, a jury found Jazmin Williams and Mica Shoate, both 24, guilty of the 2012 child abuse murder of Zamontay Green.
Jurors imposed a no-parole life prison term for each defendant on the murder count, which was based on allegations that the defendants used unreasonable force on the boy, causing a subdural hemorrhage to his brain, abdominal trauma, broken ribs and multiple bruises and marks.
