A Moore High School basketball coach was arrested Monday after a student told police the coach molested her for more than two years, according to a police report.
Aaron Howell, 38, turned himself in to Oklahoma City police on Monday after detectives spoke with him at Moore High School, Oklahoma City Police spokeswoman Jennifer Wardlow said.
According to the report, a student younger than 16 told an officer Howell touched her inappropriately in the kitchen and living room of a private residence over the past two years, with the last incident taking place in November 2013.
Howell was an honorable mention selection on The Oklahoman’s 1994 All-State team after averaging 16 points per game for the El Reno boys basketball team.
