A former Western Heights High School teacher and basketball coach convicted of having sex with a 16-year-old student was sentenced Thursday to two years in prison.
Tyrone Lamont Nash, 35, should serve a 10-year sentence with the last eight years suspended, Oklahoma County District Judge Jerry Bass ruled.
Bass found Nash guilty on five counts of second-degree rape and five counts of forcible oral sodomy on April 25.
