3:45 p.m. — The body has been identified as Carla Sessions Wood, 49, who has been reported missing in Oklahoma City since June 29, police said.
Wood was discovered in some heavy brush along a chainlink fence behind Canary Wellhead, 1820 S Missouri St, an oil drilling manufacturer and supplier.
The cause of death is being investigated by the state Medical Examiner’s Office, police said.
2:45 p.m. — Homicide and crime scene detectives are investigating the discovery of a very decomposed body Monday afternoon in southeast Oklahoma City.
It is unclear if the person, who has yet to be identified, died a natural death or was the victim of homicide, police Sgt.
