EL RENO — A former employee of an adolescent drug rehabilitation center was arrested after being accused of sexually molesting a 15-year-old patient, investigators with the Canadian County sheriff’s office said.
Amy Thompson, 32, of Yukon, was arrested on a complaint of engaging in lewd acts against a minor and rape in the first degree, officials said.
A mother contacted authorities to report that her son had been sexually molested by Thompson while he was receiving treatment at the Fort Reno Adolescent Drug and Rehabilitation Center.
Thompson, who investigators said is married and has three children, told authorities she met the boy while she was an employee of the center.
Her duties when she worked for the center included providing supervision and care to patients who were receiving treatment.
