Gov. Mary Fallin’s campaign bus was burglarized this week, and thieves got away with a TV and a stereo, along with 21 tires from the recreational vehicle dealership where the bus was parked.
Oklahoma City police are investigating the burglary, which took place at Leisure Time RV, 4901 S Anderson Road, late Wednesday or early Thursday.
Leisure Time co-owner Ron Walker said the burglars cut a hole in the fence, backed in a pickup and hauled away 21 tires from pop-up campers.
“It doesn’t make much sense, because those tires are odd sizes,” Walker said.
The burglars then broke into Fallin’s bus, which was there for maintenance, and took the stereo and a 50-inch TV and attempted to take an additional TV.
