A judge dismissed one count of use of a computer to facilitate a sex crime Thursday in the preliminary hearing of Israel Shalom Castillo, a former employee of Victory Christian church.
The judge ordered the count dismissed based on a defense motion that argued both counts against Castillo relied on the same evidence.
Castillo, 23, still faces a charge of making a lewd or indecent proposal to a child involving a 15-year-old girl he met through Victory Christian Center.
