11:40 a.m. A man killed another man in a home invasion early this morning at the 1500 block of NW 39.
Police say the man that was killed was the current boyfriend of a woman who was previously in a relationship with the shooter.
The shooter then led police on a chase southbound on Interstate 35, where he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his car while traveling southbound on the I-35 river bridge, just south of the I-40 eastbound I-35 junction.
Police originally responded at 3 a.m.
