An altercation between two cousins early Sunday in Bricktown led to one man dead and another facing a murder complaint, police said.
Around 2:25 a.m., Oklahoma City police responded to a call at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at 101 E Main St., where they found Mario Vines, 48, dead inside a hallway.
Police said Vines was involved in an altercation with his 39-year-old cousin, Tarius Reed, when Reed pulled out a pistol and shot Vines to death.
Vines was pronounced dead at the scene.
Reed was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a murder complaint.
