FROM STAFF REPORTS

— The son of an Okfuskee County couple found slain in their home earlier this month was charged Friday with two counts of first-degree murder.

Ross Alan Holloway, 32, is accused of shooting and killing his parents March 8 inside their home near Boley.

The bodies of Denver Holloway, 54, and Martha Holloway, 53, were discovered March 11.

Both died of multiple gunshot wounds from a .22-caliber Magnum firearm, the state medical examiner has ruled.

The Okfuskee County sheriff requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation's assistance with the case.

Agents say Ross Holloway had been living with his parents for two years.

Methamphetamine was found in his bedroom, according to the OSBI.

His 1997 Jeep Wrangler and Denver Holloway's .22-caliber Magnum revolver were missing.

Agents say a day after the killings Ross Holloway was stopped by officers in Le Flore County and admitted to smoking meth hours earlier.

A .22-caliber Magnum revolver was found inside his vehicle with five spent shell casings inside the cylinder, the OSBI reported.

During an interview with an OSBI agent, Holloway admitted to killing his parents, according to the report.
