NORMAN — The Cleveland County sheriff and a county commissioner have teamed up to crack down on illegal dumping, especially in rural east Norman and Moore.
Sheriff Joe Lester and District 2 Commissioner Darry Stacy have launched “Clean-up Cleveland County” in collaboration with officials in Norman and Moore.
Sheriff's deputies and other county employees will seek out illegal dumping sites and work to identify those who are causing the problem, Lester said.
