NORMAN — A Cleveland County jury has recommended a 63-year-old Moore man serve life without parole in the 2010 rape of an 8-year-old girl.
A jury Tuesday convicted Lonnie Brown of first-degree rape and four additional felony counts of rape by instrumentation, forcible sodomy, lewd molestation and a pattern of lewd behavior.
Brown was accused of raping, sodomizing and molesting the girl at his home in September 2010.
Jurors deliberated about four and a half hours before returning the guilty verdicts to District Judge Lori Walkley.
