JAY – Two inmates escaped from the Delaware County jail overnight, said Sheriff Harlan Moore.
Pete Wolfe, 51, of Pryor and Anthony Anderson, 22, of Sapulpa broke out of the jail through a window around 1: 45 a.m., Moore said.
Wolfe was being held on a charge of attempted robbery with a weapon and Anderson was incarcerated on a failure to pay warrant stemming from a 2010 plea to second-degree rape, court records show.
Both men are considered armed and dangerous.
Anderson is 5-foot, 8-inches and weighs 150 pounds.
