CONWAY, Texas — An Oklahoma man faces drug charges after a traffic stop in the Texas Panhandle led to the seizure of more than $1.3 million worth of methamphetamine.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says a trooper discovered more than 36 pounds of meth wrapped in bundles and hidden in the seats of an SUV.
Carson County jail records show the driver, 18-year-old Leira Cota of Oklahoma City, was being held Friday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
