Two men have been charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed an Oklahoma City cyclist.
One man charged in the case is accused of trying to cover up the hit-and run by later crashing the damaged SUV into a highway guardrail.
Marquez Paul Taylor, 33, of Oklahoma City is accused of leaving the scene of an accident after fatally hitting cyclist Brian Howard Bailey, 47, near NW 4 and N MacArthur in the early morning hours of March 18.
At the time of the accident, Taylor was driving an SUV that belonged to the girlfriend of his friend, Clarence Parker, 44, according to a court affidavit.
Parker told police that he let Taylor drive the SUV back to Taylor's house after Parker had too much to drink.
