Police investigating Monday stabbing death in Oklahoma City

Police have released the name of a man stabbed to death Monday.

Also, police have released the name of one man who has been arrested in connection with the death, police  report.

Tristen Lee Bingham, 19, of Oklahoma City, was fatally stabbed about 1:15 a.m.

NORMAN — Murder defendant Alton Alexander Nolen admitted in a statement written for a plant supervisor that he said "I beat on Caucasians" during an argument with "a white lady" at a Moore food plant.

Jurors Monday saw the handwritten statement at the trial over a beheading and attempted beheading at Vaughan Foods on Sept.

Wilson Henry Perez never made it to the city's south side on Saturday night to watch a boxing match as he'd planned.

Instead, the 19-year-old's body was found in a northwest Oklahoma City park by his uncle Sunday afternoon, aunt Carrie Perez said.

Wilson Perez had come to his aunt and uncle's house, but left with a friend to meet a girl in Harlow Park, 4800 NW 19.

Two men charged in hit-and-run death of Oklahoma City cyclist

Two men have been charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed an Oklahoma City cyclist.

One man charged in the case is accused of trying to cover up the hit-and run by later crashing the damaged SUV into a highway guardrail.

Marquez Paul Taylor, 33, of Oklahoma City is accused of leaving the scene of an accident after fatally hitting cyclist Brian Howard Bailey, 47, near NW 4 and N MacArthur in the early morning hours of March 18.

At the time of the accident, Taylor was driving an SUV that belonged to the girlfriend of his friend, Clarence Parker, 44, according to a court affidavit.

Parker told police that he let Taylor drive the SUV back to Taylor's house after Parker had too much to drink.

Aphiwe Mapekula, 23, was shot in the arm, leg and stomach outside his home in Mount Frere after officers arrived to find him eating the corpse of a woman.

Medical examiner determines man found in Oklahoma City park was strangled, beaten to death

A 19-year-old man found dead in a northwest Oklahoma City park died of strangulation and blunt force trauma, the state medical examiner's office announced Tuesday.

The death of Wilson Henry Perez, 19, has been ruled a homicide, a medical examiner's office spokeswoman reports.

Family members found Perez's body Sunday at Harlow Park, 4800 NW 19.

Driver, passenger shot during pursuit in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma investigators report

OKMULGEE — An Okmulgee County deputy shot a Duncan man and a passenger in the car he was driving during a pursuit Saturday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reports.

Chris Culberson, 34, was shot and wounded Saturday in Okmulgee County near Gun Club Road and Mission Road, OSBI reports.

Felony charges filed against three men in Pawnee County road rage violence

PAWNEE — Three men face criminal felony charges in connection with a violent road rage incident that resulted in an attack on a group of Oklahoma State University motorcycle riders near Maramec in Pawnee County. 

Prosecutors filed charges Monday and Tuesday in connection with the Sunday, September 10 attack, caught on video and posted last week on YouTube.

In the video, a man gets out of a pickup and tosses a motorcycle rider to the ground before he gets on top of him and punches and kicks him a number of times while the rider is still wearing his helmet.

The motorcyclist gets up after being beaten and walks off. 

A man identified as Paul Arnold Wiseley, 60, pulls out a knife and shouts, "I am the real deal!

Funeral home driver arrested on DUI complaint with body in back

CHANDLER — An Oklahoma City funeral home driver was arrested on a driving under the influence complaint while taking a body from Tulsa to Oklahoma City, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokeswoman reports.

Theresa Sue Patrick, of Moore, a driver for Alpha & Omega Mortuary Services was arrested about 4:40 p.m.

Suspect Plans to Sue ‘Hero’ Who Stopped Him From Robbing Starbucks

FRESNO, Calif. -- A 30-year-old man who allegedly used a gun during an attempted robbery at a California Starbucks now plans to sue the good Samaritan who stepped in to stop the crime, according to KSEE.


Back in July, Ryan Flores attempted to rob a Starbucks when Cregg Jerri, 58, attacked the suspect. In the video, the suspect is shown wearing a Transformers mask and threatening a barista.
